Conditions

  1. Cairns Tours (“CT”) accepts no responsibility for passengers or their property failing to be at designated points at designated times or for any loss or damage arising out of such failure.
  2. The laws of Queensland govern the tour.
  3. Not available from Holloways Beach, Machans Beach and Yorkeys Knob.
  4.  Childrens ages 4-14 inclusive. Children under the age of 4 travel free of charge unless specified.
  5. A 100% fee applies for any cancellations within 24 hours of travel, or for passengers who fail to appear on day of departure.
  6. Although CT endeavours to ensure that all passengers’ belongings are secure throughout the tour and that all belongings are collected on disembarkment, to the extent permitted by law CT and its employees shall not be responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property.
  7.  CT reserves the right to change the tour route according to road conditions and may alter or omit advised stopping places.
  8.  We reserve the right to alter fares at any time without notice.
  9. We reserve the right to use alternative vehicles.
  10. We reserve the right to refuse to carry any persons and/or goods on the tour, and to inspect all baggage. You warrant that you will not bring with you on the tour any illegal or hazardous substances or items, any items which may be or become dangerous, or any animals.
  11. No agent, employee or representative of CT has authority to alter, modify or waive any of these terms.
  12. We reserve the right to alter these terms by written notice.
  13. Tours do not operate on Christmas Day. Black out dates apply – for specific list of dates, contact our reservations team.
  14. The Kuranda Scenic Rail (KSR) is subject to extreme weather conditions resulting in non-operation. In this instance, return Skyrail will be provided to substitute the KSR portion. You will be advised on the day of alternative arrangements that will be available to you.
  15. Skyrail Rainforest Cableway is subject to extreme weather conditions resulting in non-operation. You will be advised on the day of alternative arrangements that will be available to you.
  16. Allow a 15 minute window from pick-up time.
  17.  Merchant fees apply on all credit card payments. We accept Visa, MasterCard & Amex.
Lost Property: Although Cairns Tours endeavours to ensure that all passenger’s belongings are secure throughout the tour/charter and that all belongings are collected on disembarkment, Cairns Tours and its employees shall not be responsible for lost property. If an item is left on our vehicle, there are two options to ensure its return:
  • Guests can make their own way to our Depot at 26 Redden Street, Portsmith, between the hours of 6am and 6:30pm daily to collect their item, or
  • If guests are unable to collect the item themselves, they can contact a courier service (we suggest Pack & Send) to collect the item from our premises and deliver to their nominated address.
