Enjoy your guides interesting commentary on the transfer to Smithfield to board Skyrail Rainforest Cableway where you will journey into the oldest continually surviving rainforest on earth as you make your way towards Kuranda. Be amazed as you glide silently over and through rainforest. Take advantage of the two stations enroute where you can alight and enjoy a walk through the rainforest via elevated boardwalks, spectacular lookouts, the splendour of Barron Falls and the CSIRO Interpretive Centre.

Kuranda Village

Upon arrival in Kuranda, it’s time to explore this fascinating village. The Heritage Markets operate 7 days a week and are full of colourful and interesting arts and crafts. You might also like to visit Birdworld, the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary or Kuranda Koala Gardens [AT OWN EXPENSE].

Kuranda Scenic Rail

At your scheduled time, board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail for your journey through the Barron Gorge National Park. Enjoy breathtaking views as you wind through tunnels and across bridges. Upon arrival at Freshwater Station, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.
